HCMC, August 2 - The GBA delegation joined the national conference chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on implementing Resolution No. 222/2025/QH15 to establish Vietnam’s International Financial Center (IFC) in HCMC and Da Nang. New Corporate Income Tax effective from 1 October 2025

The National Assembly has introduced the 2025 Corporate Income Tax Law No. 67/2025/QH15, which will take effect on October 1, 2025, and apply to the financial year starting in 2025. According to the Ministry of Finance, this amendment aims to address existing inefficiencies and overlaps, ensure a stable revenue stream for the state budget, and promote the sustainable restructuring of state budget revenues.

Vietnam Entities to Update Corporate Seals

Effective 1 July 2025, Vietnam has officially implemented a new administrative zoning system, which has resulted in changes to the formal address designations of many Vietnamese entities. As a consequence, the corporate seals of some businesses may no longer reflect the correct and updated address information.

To address this issue, the Ministry of Public Security has issued Official Letter No. 4379/C06-P2 (the “Letter”), guiding the re-registration of corporate seals to ensure consistency with the updated administrative boundaries.
