German Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities in Dong Nai

Dong Nai, November 7 – A delegation of over 45 German enterprises and investors, led by GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe and Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam Mr. Peter Kompalla, held constructive talks with the Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Mr. Vo Van Phi, and provincial departmental heads. The discussions centred on boosting FDIs and reinforcing Dong Nai’s position as a competitive business hub.

Key recommendations to enhance Dong Nai’s appeal include: streamlined, digitised administrative procedures, liberalisation of international banking, tax and financial incentives, more.

Decoding German M&A Investments in Vietnam

However, 2024 has seen a notable decline in activity across the Asia-Pacific region, with a 28 per cent year-over-year decrease. On September 24, 2024, Vietnam introduced a draft Personal Data Protection (PDP) Law, marking a significant advancement in data protection.
