Exploring the Diverse Market Landscapes of Cambodia: The German Delegation Journey

During a strategic visit to Cambodia from May 9 to 11, a 20-member German delegation led by AHK Vietnam and GBA held discussions with Cambodia’s Commerce Minister, H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, and high-ranking officials from the Council for the Development of Cambodia in Phnom Penh. The discussions centered on industries of interest, trade infrastructure between Vietnam and Cambodia, and the potential for market expansion in Cambodia.

GBA Chairman Mr. Ziehe and AHK Vietnam’s Chief Representative Mr. Kompalla emphasised the significance of our first Cambodia delegation for expanding business opportunities, using Vietnam as a base for global growth. They highlighted the delegation's role in demonstrating our strategy to foster German business partnerships in the region..

Impressions of the "Career Day - Explore Your Future" in Hanoi 

On May 25, in Hanoi, the event, jointly organized by the German Embassy, Goethe Institut, GIZ, AHK Vietnam, and DAAD, attracted around 450 participants, including Vietnamese youth and companies interested in German job prospects.

AHK Vietnam offered valuable insights on the new Germany's new Skilled Immigration Act and offered consultations on employment and qualification recognition. The fair was an excellent platform for exploring study, work, and living opportunities in Germany. Future events aim to further enhance access to these opportunities.

GBA Launches Innovative “Coffee Talk with GBA Board Care-takers” Series

The GBA is pleased to announce the successful launch of the “Coffee Talk with GBA Board Care-takers” initiative. This dynamic platform allows our members to directly dialogue with the GBA Board members and office team, fostering connections and creating a sense of community.

Hosted by GBA Board members Mr. Brandenburg and Mr. Andermann, the first session witnessed lively exchanges of ideas among 15 participants on how to enhance membership value and community engagement.

Participants praised the originality of the Coffee Talk approach and its role in strengthening community bonds. It offered a stage for members to voice their forward-thinking suggestions regarding GBA’s strategic focus, and themes for upcoming events.

Foreign Representative Agencies Got First Experience of Metro Line No. 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien

HCMC, April 26 - 200 representatives from Consulate Generals, international organizations, economic and cultural institutions, foreign business associations in Ho Chi Minh City including Dr. Josefine Wallat – German Consul General and Minh Nguyen – Vice Chairwoman of GBA and Quynh Anh Le – Executive Director of GBA had their first experience on the Metro Line No.1 from Ben Thanh District 1 to Suoi Tien Theme Park in Thu Duc City.

HCMC, May 16 – The first European Night of the year, co-hosted by the GBA, CEEC & DBAV, has been hailed as a resounding success. A vibrant gathering of over 160 professionals from diverse sectors, all coming together to network and engage in a convivial setting.
