VIETNAM M&A FORUM 2023: THRIVING TOGETHER   📍 Today, the Vietnam M&A Forum 2023 with the theme “Thriving Together” was hosted by Vietnam Investment Review (VIR) in Chi Minh City, bringing different perspectives on the raising investment channel and its insides to the participants.   💡 The conference was opened by keynote speeches from Mr. Le Trong Minh, Editor-in-Chief of VIR; and Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI). After that, two panel discussions were carried out delving into the topics “New Momentum For the M&A Market in Vietnam” and “Synergising Strength from M&A Deals”, featuring experienced experts and representatives from businesses.      🔎 Joining the in-depth and informative publication of VIR on this occasion, Marko Walde, Chief Representative from AHK Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos shared in an article about the role of M&A in boosting German business activities in Vietnam. From what AHK Vietnam has observed and witnessed, „M&As have proven to be an efficient and cost-effective method for foreign companies to enter and expand in the Vietnamese market. By acquiring existing businesses, investors can tap into local expertise, established customer bases, and supply chains, reducing the challenges of building operations from the ground up” – said Marko Walde.   ✅ In this article, we also addressed the success stories of STADA Vietnam, Ottobock, FUCHS, etc. in diversifying their business in the Vietnamese dynamic market through the M&A channel.
