WORKSHOP "ASIA COMPETENCE: INTERCULTURAL TRAINING VIETNAM" 📌 On 15 November, our Chief Representative of AHK in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos Marko Walde, and Trang Dao, the Board of Management’s Member and Head of Business Development, presented in an interesting training session the most essential information regarding intercultural matters when working with German and Vietnamese executives and colleagues. 💬 The workshop took place at IHK Magdeburg with remarkable sharing from Mike Durrie on the fundamentals and intercultural challenges in management, also with his practical advice to the participants. 🤝 Living and working for years in Vietnam, Marko Walde had an enthusiastic presentation on his perspective on how to successfully deal with Vietnamese people, especially in a business context. 6moBesonders die Zusammenarbeit mit Vietnamesen und Deutschen in zwei unterschiedlichen Zeitzonen bringt viele Aspekte mit sich, um ein Verständnis und reibungsloses Arbeitsumfeld zu schaffen. Der erste Schritt besteht darin, die Unterschiede zu verstehen, und der zweite ist, gemeinsam einen gemeinsamen Nenner zu finden. Ich finde es wirklich toll, Programme wie dieses zu sehen, die das Verständnis zwischen zwei verschiedenen Kulturen fördern. Als Deutsch-Vietnamese, der mit beiden Kulturen aufgewachsen ist, freue ich mich zu sehen, wie meine beiden Heimatländer durch Workshops wie diese einander näherkommen.
